Why Do We Have Difficult People In Our Lives?
Have you ever wondered why God can’t just change certain people so it would make your life easier?  I mean, it would be much easier to love them if God would work on their faults, right?
Here is a new perspective….
You have been anointed to reveal Christ to those difficult people.  They are not there just to constantly bring you down.  They are put there because they need YOU to bring them up – by just being who you are.
You can affect the lives of others and encourage them to follow Christ by simply revealing Christ to them through your behavior.
Don’t let people irritate you because they are a distraction.  That is hating an obstacle instead of over-coming it.  Focus on the purpose God has in the situation.  It is the person, the relationship that you are there to affect.  Overcome your feelings of wanting to “put them in their place”, rather demonstrate Christ to them by how you react to them.
Verse:  I Peter 3:8-9 – Summing up:  Be agreeable, be sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble.  That goes for all of you, no exceptions.  No retaliation.  No sharp tongued sarcasm. Instead, bless – that’s your JOB, to bless.  You’ll be a blessing and also get a blessing.
